On Tuesday, October 29th, West Lauderdale High School hosted its annual Trunk or Treat, drawing crowds of excited kids and families to enjoy Halloween festivities. The parking lot was filled with creatively decorated trunks, construction vehicles, horseback riding, and even a haunted band hall attraction.
Chloe Evans, a junior who worked one of the booths, shared her thoughts on the event’s atmosphere, saying:
“This year’s Trunk or Treat was so much fun. I had an amazing time socializing with my classmates and the little kids. It was so rewarding watching their faces light up after seeing their faces painted. The colorful decorations and the creative costumes were wonderful. Overall, it was a memorable experience that truly captured the Halloween spirit!”
Among the attendees was Taiylar Wilson, who came with her younger sibling. She explained:
“My little sister and I had a blast collecting candy and playing games. Her favorite part was riding the horses; this year was her first time coming, and we will definitely be back next year.”
The Trunk or Treat was a huge success, bringing the community together for a night of fun, candy, and creative costumes. West Lauderdale hosts this event every year, so we hope to see you next Halloween—if you dare!
