The Knights raised $160 for the American Cancer Society. The National Honor Society(NHS) organized this fundraiser. Each student made a $1 donation to support Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing pink. The American Cancer Society is a cancer-fighting organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is organized by breast cancer charities in October. This organization strives to become more aware of this disease and raise money for research to prevent, diagnose, treat, and cure cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness month was created for people to become more aware of this disease and raise funds for research into cancer.
